Manalapan Man Indicted in Toms River Burglary, Theft

Ocean County grand juries hand up indictments

A Manalapan man was indicted by an Ocean County grand jury last week on charges of burglarizing a Toms River home and stealing various items.

Anthony R. Scifo, 21, broke into a Breckenridge Place residence Sept. 9 and stole jewelry, a computer, credit cards and other property, the indictment states.

Scifo then used a stolen First National Bank Visa credit card to make purchases that same day at Exxon in Toms River.

He was charged with burglary, theft, credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts of receiving stolen property.

Scifo was initially jailed but posted $25,000 bail on Sept. 29.
