Manalapan Man Indicted on Child Endangerment Charge

A Smallwood Lane man was indicted by the Monmouth County grand jury on child endangerment.

Cristian Tiberi of Manalapan Township was indicted by the grand jury of Monmouth County on a child endangerment charge on Monday, Jan. 7.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Tiberi, 50, committed the crime of Endangering the Welfare of a Child on various dates between July 2012 and September 2012.

The indictment identified the child only as “C.T.” “C.T.” is under 18-years-old, the indictment stated, and the harm caused to the child defines it as abused or neglected, according to New Jersey law. Tiberi was legally responsible for the care of the child.

Endangering the Welfare of a Child is a second degree crime.
