Manalapan Man Indicted on Heroin Possession Charge

The man was found to be in possession of heroin in Englishtown Borough.

Michael Tzalmon, 21, of Manalapan, was indicted by the Monmouth County Grand Jury on Wednesday, March 13 for allegedly being in possession of heroin in Englishtown on November 2, 2012.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Tzalmon committed the crime of being in possession of a dangerous substance, namely heroin, while within the Englishtown Borough. Possession of a dangerous substance is a third degree crime.

Tzalmon was also indicted in Monmouth County in April 2012 on two counts of burglary and one count of possession of a dangerous substance. He was arrested on November 10, 2011 in Marlboro Township for being in possession of a stolen purse, a backpack full of tools stolen from a parked car, 30 Trazadone pills and a marijuana cigarette on him, according to police.
