Manalapan Woman Indicted on Charges of Obtaining a Drug by Fraud

Paula Wolf impersonated another individual in order to acquire the prescription drug fioricet.

Paula Wolfe, of Saint Andrews Place in , was indicted by the Grand Jury of Monmouth County on Feb. 22 for allegedly obtaining fioricet with a false identity. 

Fioricet is a prescription drug often used to treat tension headaches that are caused by muscle contractions, according to Drugs.com. The drug is made up of acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, Wolfe, 62, impersonated another individual (possibly two) in order to obtain at least $500 and the prescription medication fioricet on various dates between October 2009 and December 23, 2011 in Manalapan, Brick, and Freehold.

Wolfe has been indicted on four charges including impersonation, obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and attempted obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud. All counts are third degree crimes.
