Missing Brother of Manalapan Man Found Dead

Jeffrey Goldberg's brother was last seen on January 31, 2012; his remains were discovered on April 14, 2013 at Lake Mead, Nev.

Red Rock Search and Rescue, a non-profit search and rescue team, have found the remains of Keith Goldberg, a Las Vegas cab driver who went missing on January 31, 2012, Goldberg’s brother Jeffrey, of Manalapan, told Patch.

Originally from Clifton, Goldberg, 54, moved to Las Vegas five years ago, according to his brother who has lived in Manalapan for 16 years. The search and rescue team discovered Goldberg’s remains at Lake Mead, Nev. on April 14 and he was identified on Saturday, KLAS-TV reported; Goldberg is believed to have been murdered.

Georgine “Cookie” Ross and her estranged husband Christopher Ross were both indicted on murder charges related to Goldberg’s death in May of 2012 and have been in jail since April 2012, according to the Las Vegas Sun. Goldberg was reportedly living with Cookie and in the process of moving out of the apartment they shared when a physical altercation erupted between the three individuals; that was when Goldberg was last seen, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
