Over $2K Shoplift Attempt at Wegmans
Two people attempted to shoplift health and beauty products from Wegmans, police said.
On July 10, two individuals were arrested for attempting to shoplift $2,365.58 from on Rt. 9 in Manalapan.
Jiovanni Montero-Lopez, 28, and Raniqua Bolton, 25, were arrested for allegedly trying to steal health and beauty products including Crest Whitening Strips, Nicorette Gum, Prilosec, and more, according to a press release issued by the .
Montero-Lopez and Bolton are not residents of Manalapan; Montero-Lopez lives in Brentwood, New Jersey and Bolton lives in Hempstead, New York. Montero-Lopez also had a controlled dangerous substance and hypodermic needle in his possession, according to the police.
