Over $8K of Landscaping Equipment Stolen from Colabelli Contractors

A Toro commercial lawn mower, gasoline, and two back pack blowers were stolen.

Two people reported thefts of landscaping equipment to the Manalapan Police Department on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

A 43-year-old Freehold man reported that 60 gallons of gasoline, a Toro commercial lawn mower, and two Echo back pack blowers were stolen from his business storage garage at Colabelli Landscaping, located on Mount Vernon Road.

The stolen property is valued at $8,360, according to police, and this case is pending an investigation.

The same day, a 59-year-old Manalapan man also reported a burglary to his backyard shed. The shed, located behind his Sutton Drive home, was pried open and entered. The homeowner told police that his shed was locked. Several items were removed from inside of the shed.
