Police Charge Two Juveniles With Breaking Into Cars Late At Night

Incident reported Thursday at 1:30 a.m. on Heron Court, off Tracy Station Road.

Manalapan Police report they have arrested two juveniles on charges they were breaking into cars on Heron Court, off Tracy Station Road. 

Police were called to the scene on Thursday, March 20 at 1:30 a.m. for a report of a motor vehicle burglary in progress. The juveniles ran off, but patrol cars later located two young people matching the witness's description and placed them under arrest. 

Although no property was reported missing by the victims at the time, an investigation determined that the juvenile suspects had entered at least one vehicle and attempted to enter another, police said.

Both juveniles were transported to Manalapan Police Headquarters where they were processed and released to their guardians.  

The incident was handled by Ptl. George Heitz, with the assistance of Ptl. Kim Whitehill, Ptl. Dennis O’Brien, Ptl. Matthew Mattia, Ptl. Matthew Meyler.
