Police: Freehold Man Causes $3K Worth of Damage to Car
Manalapan police arrested a Freehold man for allegedly damaging another person's vehicle.
A Freehold man reportedly caused nearly $3,000 worth of damage to a car parked within Manalapan Township last week. Manalapan police arrested Eric Keys, 23, of Freehold, and charged him with criminal mischief for purposely damaging another person’s motor vehicle on Friday, April 26.
According to Manalapan police, Keys kicked both exterior rearview mirrors, keyed the paint on the vehicle, broke both rear lamp covers, and pulled off the right rear bumper.
Keys is currently remanded in Monmouth County Jail with bail set at $7,500.
