Police: Man Exposes Genitals to Marshalls Employee

The Manalapan Police Department is reporting two incidents of lewdness within the Township last week.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, a Marshalls store associate told police that while she was working an unidentified man exposed his genitals to her from outside of the store; the suspect was visible through a window, according to a police report.

Ptl. Eric Voorand responded to the scene shortly before 10 p.m. on Dec. 8. The man was described to him as skinny, approximately 6 foot in height and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with red lettering and jeans. Ptl. Voorand is currently investigating this occurrence.

Another instance of lewdness took place in Manalapan on Dec. 4. Ptl. Philip Accatatta responded to a Sweetmans Lane residence at about 11:15 a.m. where a woman reported that she saw an unknown man masturbating to her inside of his car while he was stopped at a traffic light.

The vitcim told police that the man had followed her in his car from Freehold Township. He fled the area after noticing that he was being observed by the victim.

The suspect was described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male around 30-years-old with a crew-cut hairstyle. The car the suspect was driving was an older, gray 4-door Toyota Corolla.

This case is pending further investigation.
