Police: North Brunswick Man Charged with Heroin Possession in Manalapan

Police discovered two intoxicated men, one was reportedly in possession of heroin.

Two men were arrested on Wednesday, Oct 10 by Manalapan police.  One man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and the other man was arrested or being in possession of heroin, according to the Manalapan Police Department.

Manalapan patrolman Philip Accatatta was dispatched to 580 Route 9 North for a report of two men who were intoxicated. Accatatta and Ptl. Michael Hoppock conducted an investigation where heroin was found.

Patrick Malhotra, 24, of North Brunswick was placed under arrest for being in possesion of a controlled dangerous substance, specifically the heroin.

Somerville resident Matthew Mokrycki, 21, was also placed under arrest and charged with driving while intoxicated.
