Resident Accused of Burglarizing Manalapan Home

A 23-year-old has been indicted by the Grand Jury for allegedly stealing silverware from a home that he illegally entered.

Timothy Suydam, 23, of , has been indicted by the Grand Jury of Monmouth County for allegedly burglarizing a Manalapan home in November.

According to the indictment issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Suydam entered a residence without permission and with the purpose to commit an offense on November 9, 2011. He allegedly stole silverware from the home valued at over $500.

Suydam was indicted on two counts: one of burglary and the second of theft of movable property, both are third degree crimes in the state of New Jersey.

Regardless of the charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution and state law.
