HomeGoods Shoplifter Arrested, 2 Wegmans Shoplifters Get Away

Two shoplifters steal baby formula and health and beauty products from Wegmans; another shoplifter attempts to steal decor from HomeGoods, but is caught and arrested.

Two reports of shoplifting have occurred within the last week at the Epicentre Plaza Shopping Center, located at 55 Rt. 9 South in Manalapan, according to police.

responded to a call on Saturday, Dec. 10 about a shoplifter at the HomeGoods located on Rt. 9 South. Before police arrived on scene, the shoplifter attempted to flee the store on foot, according to a report issued by police.

F. Rinaudo, a Staten Island resident, had attempted to steal $178.96 worth of merchandise from the home decor store. Rinaudo was located and arrested by Patrolman Robert Herring.

Rinaudo was arrested and charged with shoplifting in an amount under $200, and all merchandise was returned to HomeGoods. The case is pending court.

On Monday, Dec. 12 Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky responded to after two women shoplifted a large amount of baby formula and health and beauty products from the supermarket.

Both suspects are white women, according to police. One suspect appears to be in her late thirties to early forties, weighs about 175 lbs. and has short dark hair, police said. The second suspect is described as being in her forties or fifties, has short brown hair, weighs about 165 lbs., and wears glasses, police said.
