Manalapan Duo Charged with Alleged Drug Possesion in Hanover

A Manalapan man and woman were allegedly found with a hypodermic needle and a controlled dangerous substance during a motor vehicle stop in Hanover.

Two Manalapan residents were arrested in Hanover on Friday and charged with drug possession, according to a report published by the Daily Record. According to the Hanover Township police blotter, Louis D. Stringer, 25, and Jenna Clare, 26, were found with drug paraphernalia during a motor vehicle stop on Route 24 in the area of Whippany Road.

The report indicates that Stringer was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle, drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Clare was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Stringer, who was driving the vehicle, was additionally charged with failure to comply with police officers directions, operating a motor vehicle in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, failure to follow marked turning course, unlicensed driver and obstructive the flow of traffic.

Both Stringer and Clare, residents of , were processed by Hanover Police and released, according to the blotter.
