Two More Car Burglaries Reported Over First December Weekend

Now there have been unlocked cars burglarized in Manalapan Township.

Two more car burglaries were reported to have occurred over the same weekend that six other cars were burglarized in Manalapan Township, according to the Manalapan Police Department.

A car parked in the driveway of a Pinewood Drive residence was burglarized during the overnight hours of Sunday, Dec. 2 to Monday, Dec. 3. The car was left unlocked. A variety of items were stolen including an iPod, several credit cards, and a pair of prescription glasses.

An unlocked car parked on a Kipling Way driveway was entered on Monday, Dec. 3. The car owner, a 38-year-old man, told police that the theft occured sometime between Sunday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 a.m. A Garmin GPS was stolen from the vehicle's glove compartment.
