Two men were medevaced from the late this morning for injuries resulting from a construction accident.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, police, fire departments, and first aid responded to 12 Regal Road in Manalapan. Three construction workers were leveling a fiberglass pool. When the pool was lifted to be leveled, one of the straps that was securing it in the air came off, which caused the pool to come down on top of two men, Capt. Chris Marsala of the said.

The construction workers were contracted out for the job to work. A 25 year-old male from Howell and a 38 year-old male from Point Pleasant were trapped underneath the pool.
