Two Shinnecock Drive Homes Burglarized

The rear doors of both homes were kicked in, police said.

Manalapan police are currently investigating the burglaries of two Shinnecock Drive homes. The homes were burglarized on July 13, according to police.

Ptl. Eric Voorand responded to an alarm call shortly after 10:15 p.m. and learned that the alarm was prompted because of burglary as he was on his way to the home. Both homes had their rear doors kicked in and assorted items were stolen, police said. According to police, the victims of the burglaries were both 65-year-old men.

The Monmouth County Sheriff K-9 unit responded to the scene to perform a track and Detective Kevin Schmidt processed both scenes. Anyone with information on either, or both, of these burglaries may contact the Manalapan Police Department at 732-446-4300.
