Wawa Construction Closes Woodward Road Wednesday

Follow the detour signs between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Woodward Road, between Route 33 and Daum Road, will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to construction at the proposed Wawa location, according to Captain Michael Fountain of the Manalapan Police Department.

Drivers traveling westbound on Route 33 wishing to turn onto Woodward Road will be detoured to Route 527 and then directed to turn right onto Daum Road. At the end of the Daum, drivers will be able to turn left onto Woodward and continue on their planned route.

People driving eastbound on Route 33 who wish to turn left onto Woodward Road will be directed to make a U-Turn onto Millhurst Road, travel 1.5 miles, and then turn right onto Tennent Road (Route 3), which is a continuation of Woodward Road.
