Englishtown Hires New Garbage, Recycling Company

M&S Waste Services has been hired as the new garbage and recycling pick-up company for the Englishtown Borough. Their contract began on January 1, 2013.

The Borough approved M&S for a one-year contract with a four-year option for garbage and a one-year contract with a three-year option for recycling collection. M&S Waste Services was the lowest bidder in both instances.

The garbage and recycling pick-up schedule has remained the same:

• Solid Waste collection on Tuesday and Friday
• Recycling collection on the second and fourth Thursday of each month

All receptacles must be placed at the curb after 5 p.m. on the evening before the scheduled pick-up.

All cardboard must continue to be flattened, bundled, and placed at the curb with the recycling.
