Last Chance: First Quarter Manalapan Taxes Due Feb. 1

The 10-day grace period for taxes has been extended to Feb. 11.

First Quarter taxes for Manalapan Township are are due Feb. 1, the Manalapan Township Committee is reminding residents.

Per NJSA 54:5-67, the Township of Manalapan permits a 10-day grace period for taxes and because Feb. 10 falls on a Sunday, the grace period has been extended to the next business day, Monday, Feb. 11.

All tax payments received in the office after 4 p.m. on Feb. 11 will accrue interest charges calculated from the original due date of Feb. 1.

The Tax Collector's Office closes at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. During after hours, taxpayers may utilize the drop box located on the Tax Collector's Office Door. 

The drop box is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Payments left in the drop box after 4 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.

The Tax Collector’s office will have extended hours on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 7p.m.
