Manalapan CERT Offers Free Training this Winter

The 20 hours FEMA endorsed training begins on Jan. 9.

The Manalapan Township Community Emergency Response Team is presenting a 20-hour FEMA endorsed CERT training on 12 weekday evenings this winter. The free trainings will begin on Jan. 9 and continue through March 27; they will take place at the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7 p.m. 

The training will prepare people to resound to emergencies and work within the emergency management structure. There will also be additional classes on CPR and incident command.

  • fire safety
  • emergency preparedness
  • response to storms and natural disasters
  • terrorism
  • search and rescue

 Pre-registration is not required but requested.
