Sandy Extends Manalapan Fourth Quarter Tax Grace Period

The usual ten day grace period has been extended to Nov. 21.

Manalapan Township's Fourth Quarter taxes were due on Nov. 1, but due to Hurricane Sandy the usual 10-day grace period has been extended to Wednesday, Nov. 21.

All tax payments must be paid and received in the tax office on, or before, Nov. 21. Any tax payments received after 4 p.m. on Nov. 21 will accrue interest charges calculated from the initial due date of Nov. 1, according to the Manalapan Township government.

The Tax Collector's Office is open until 4 p.m. during the week. To drop off payment after hours there is a drop box located on the Tax Collector's Office Door within the Manalapan Township Municipal Building. The drop box is available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; payments placed in drop box after 4 p.m. will be considered received the next business day.
