Manalapan MRC-CERT in Need of Volunteers
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in an MRC-CERT exercise on Oct. 20.
The Manalapan Township Medical Reserve Corp Community Emergency Response Team in in need of volunteers. Help out the MRC-CERT on Oct. 20 at the "Point of Distribution" exercise from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Monmouth County Library.
Volunteers will run through the clinic to help the MRC-CERT prepare to distribute emergency medicine to the public if that is ever needed. This exercise helps prepare the MRC-CERT in an emergency situation.
Volunteers must be 14-years-old and older. Youth groups with a leader are also welcome. Pre-registration for this event is required. Please call 732-4468345 or send an e-mail to health@mtnj.org to register.
