Manalapan to Make Water, Ice Available

Power restoration estimates at seven to 10 days. Schools canceled Wednesday.

Manalapan Township will have supplies of water and ice available for residents, according to a press release issued by the municipality’s Office of Emergency Management.

Residents can pick up the water and ice at Manalapan Township Senior Center beginning Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 a.m. Residents must bring their own containers to retrieve the ice.

Due to extensive outages, JCP&L estimates that it will take seven to 10 days for complete power restoration, according to the press release.

Cell phone charging stations will be made available to residents. Call Manalapan non-emergency storm hotline at 732-446-3200 for more details.

All Manalapan schools are canceled for Wednesday.

In addition, Halloween Trick or Treat at Town Hall has been suspended and the curfew for those under 18 years is 5 p.m.
