Manalapan Township Offers Weekend CERT Training

The FEMA endorsed training will take place this weekend.

The Manalapan Township Medical Reserves Corps-Community Emergency Response Team (MRC-CERT) has added an additional CERT training to its schedule for March 8 through March 10. This training is endorsed by FEMA, Manalapan Health Department Director Dave Richardson said.

The free training repares participants to respond to emergencies and to work within the emergency management structure. Some of the topics covered include: first aid, fire safety, preparedness and response to storms and natural disasters, terrorism and search and rescue.
