Manalapan Township Reorganization Meeting Appointments

The governing body accepted nominations and appointments from the mayor for 2011.

At the Manalapan Township reorganization meeting on Jan. 5, the governing body accepted the following nominations and appointments by Mayor Andrew Lucas for 2011:

  • Capt. Louis Moreto will serve as acting chief for the Manalapan Polce Department.
  • Committeeman Ryan Green will serve as deputy mayor for one-term.
  • Roger McLaughlin will serve as township attorney for one year.
  • Ramon Rivera, Ronald Cucchiaro, and Richard Klauber will serve as conflict and alternate attorneys for one year.
  • Mayor Andrew Lucas, Township Administrator Tara Lovrich, Health Officer Dave Richardson, Public Works Director Alan Spector, Shari Spero, Michael Kivowitz, Scott Myers and Troy Davis will serve one-year terms on the Green Team Advisory Committee.
  • Greg Valesi will serve as township engineer for one term.
  • Scott MacFadden will serve for one year as an alternate township engineer.
  • Richard Cramer will serve one-term as township planner. MacFadden will serve as an alternate planner.
  • Ronald Schneider will serve one-term as township architects.
  • Robert Oliwa will serve one-term as township auditor.
  • John Draikiwicz will serve one-term as township bond counsel.
  • Nicole Sonnenblick will serve as a municipal prosecutor for the Manalapan Municipal Court for one-year. John Lane Jr., will serve as an alternate municipal prosecutor.
  • Susan Clark will serve as public defender for the Manalapan Municipal Court for one year.
  • Pamela Brodowksi will serve as an appraiser for tax appeals for the township for one year.
  • Shari Spero will serve as an arborist and certified tree expert for the township for one-year.
  • Thomas Davis will serve as township appraiser for one-year.
  • Salvatore Alfieri will serve as special counsel for tax appeals for the township for one term.
  • Andrew Bayer will serve as counsel for the township for Council on Affordable Housing for one-term.
  • Tara Lovrich will serve as fund commissioner representing Manalapan on the Garden State Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Board of Commissioners. Renee Garrigana  will serve as an alternate. Alan Spector will serve as safety and loss prevention representative on the same board.
  • The Meridian Occupational Health Systems will serve as the professional medical service for the township.
  • Stephen McEnery will serve a five-year term as a member of the Western Monmouth Utilities Authority. Committeeman Don Holland voted against.
  • James Newman will serve as a judge for the Manalapan Municipal Court for a three-year term.
  • Eve Zucker-Strauss and Maureen Castellani will serve four-year terms on the Manalapan Zoning Board of Adjustments. Paul Cohen will serve as an alternate.
  • Kim Silverstein, Phillip Tutnauer, and Steve Levine will serve three-year terms on the Manalapan Board of Health.
  • Steve Burdick, Patrick Flannery, Peter Hall, Richard Hogan, Ralph Kirkland, Michael Lennox, Ted Linder, Mark Matlock, Ryan Perone, Erin Sacks, Henry Saurborn, Phillip Tutnauer, and Charles Warshany will serve on the Bureau of Fire Prevention for one-year.
  • Steve Ross and Gary Weiss will serve as deputy fire inspectors for the township for one year.
  • Ryan Green, Jan Zachary, Susan Cohen and Ryan Proietti will serve as members on the Cable Television Advisory Committee. Green will serve one term while Cohen, Proietti and Zachary will serve three-year terms.
  • Michelle Roth, Kalman Budai, Joel Krinsky and Barbara Miller will serve on the Economic Development Council for Manalapan.  Roth will serve one term as Budai, Krinsky and Miller were all serve three-year terms.
  • Caroline Johnson, Joseph Provenzano, Frances Provenzano, Bella Ciccia, Elaine Fields, Judy Tendler, Clair Glass, Sandra Whitehouse, and Mary Zydel will serve on the Manalapan Senior Citizens Advisory Committee for one-year term.
  • John Basselini, Beth Ann Fazlibegu and Louise Lang will serve a one-year term on the Shade Tree Committee. Maureen Shames will serve as an alternate.
  • Susan Cohen, Kate Malone and Anthony Musich will all serve three-year terms on the Transportation Committee.
  • Anthony Musich will serve as a municipal liaison to the Monmouth County Transportation Council.
  • Lydia Wikoff will serve as township historian for a one-year term. Ted Lindner will serve as an alternate.
  • Louise Lang will serve as municipal coordinator and gypsy moth coordinator with the Monmouth County Shade Tree Commission for a one-year term.
  • Diana Cochran, Glenn Essner, James Mumolie will serve on the Manalapan Recreation Advisory Board for three-year terms. Jerry Maffia and Rich D'Agosta will serve as alternates.
  • Jack Eisner, Larry Harris, Wanda Holland, Janice Reese and Paul Reese will serve one-year terms on the Municipal Agricultural Advisory Committee.
  • Steve Levine, Pat Dwyer, Maurice Zagha, John Barrett, Sherri Bogolub, Lee Marconi, Sal Rios, Terry Quercia, Phyllis Fitzgerald, Jordan Maskowitz and Tara Lovrich will serve one-year terms on the Manalapan Township Community Service Committee.
  • Jan Zachary, Lucyna Olesnicki, Roma Bartos, Shirley Lew, Ted Lindner, Tony Gambaro, Joseph Fezza, Joseph Cuozzo, Gerard Balsamo, Ed Cohen, Jacob Cohen, Susana Litovsky, Michael Cammarata, Dennis Bruzzi, RoseMary Mantineo and Joseph Tingali will serve one-year terms with the Manalapan Township Television Network Production Volunteers.
  • Richard Hogan will serve a three-year term as the township's emergency management coordinator.
