Old Queens Blvd., Smallwood Lane to be Repaved

The road repaving project will take place this fall.

Old Queens Boulevard within the Yorktowne Development and Smallwood Lane within the Monmouth Heights development will be repaved. The Manalapan Township Committee awarded S. Batata Construction, Inc. the contract for the road repaving at the Wednesday night committee meeting.

The funds for the contract, which was awarded in the amount of $1,072,257.50, was previously allocated in the capital budget last May.

“Maintaining our neighborhood streets is one of the top priorities of the Township Committee, and it’s great to know that the work will be completed this fall,” Deputy Mayor Jordan Maskowitz said Wednesday night.
