Special Bulk Collection for Storm Damaged Items

A special bulk collection of items that were damaged during Hurricane Sandy is being offered by Manalapan Township. This includes large items damaged by the storm including play sets and wood fencing, according to the Township.

The initial collection will begin on Saturday, Dec. 8 for all residents who receive Monday and Thursday garbage collection.

The second bulk pick-up is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec. 15 for residents who have Tuesday and Friday garbage collection.

Make sure that all bulk items are placed on the curb the night before the scheduled collection to ensure that the items are not missed.

This bulk collection will not include any brush or metal items. All metal items must be brought to the Manalapan Recycling Center.
