Town Hall Meeting on New Garbage Collection Contract Tonight

There will be a Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. within the courtroom of the .

The Town Hall meeting will cover a presentation on the new . Waste Management's current contract with the township expires on Dec. 31.

Since Manalapan Township is required to go out to bid for a new contract when a contract expires, the garbage collection company may change.

If you have an opinion or comment about Waste Management as the garbage collection pick up company, please come to the Town Hall meeting and let your voice be heard.

There will be a presentation made which will outline the different proposals and costs from various companies for the new garbage collection contract. The Township Committee will be present to answer any questions and listen to all comments from the citizens.
