2 Dance Schools Are Clear Favorites

Movement Dance Centre and Center of Dance Art rolled up big vote totals in our survey

Congratulations to Movement Dance Centre in Manalapan and Center of Dance Art in Morganville for emerging as clear Patch favorites in this week's Readers' Choice survey of dance studios in Marlboro, Manalapan and Englishtown.

Movement Dance drew more than 10,000 votes and Center of Dance Art more than 5,000 in our unscientific poll. While multiple voting is possible in the survey, the high numbers, comments and other feedback we received made it clear that both schools enjoy passionate support.

"The Movement Dance Centre trains children and teenagers alike to a wide variety of dance styles," Alli Hart wrote in a posted comment. "The teachers not only expose their students to all types of movements, but they help them build character, obedience, respect, responsibility friendships and a love for one another and the art of dance!"

Deb Radice posted this comment about Center of Dance Arts: "This is my daughter's first year at the studio and from the teachers to the moms to the other kids, everyone has been warm and welcoming. In addition, the technical education my daughter is receiving is beyond compare."

Reader comments also reflected great support for Dance Attitudes in Marlboro, which received over 400 votes.

"Throughout the many years that I have been dancing at Dance Attitudes, I have created friendships and life lessons that could never be forgotten," wrot Melonie Foreman. "The teachers are extraordinary and push us to be the best dancers."

Our thanks to supporters of all the schools in our survey for their participation and enthusiasm. Voting ended at 9 a.m. Friday morning but you can still post reviews of your favorites in their listings in our Places directory.
