Fire Alarm Goes Off at Clark MIlls, ELC Campus

Morning kindergarten and preschool buses will be delayed; afternoon kindergarten and preschool has been canceled.

A fire alarm went off at Clark Mills School and the John I. Dawes Early Learning Center late this morning, according to a statement issued by Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Superintendent John J. Marciante.

The children were evacuated to Milford Brook School safely, Marciante said. Buses for children returning home from morning kindergarten and pre-school will be delayed, however.

Additionally, Marciante said that afternoon kindergarten and pre-school will be canceled today because it was unknown when the schools could be re-entered.
