High School Schedule to be Announced Tonight

At this time, the remainder of the school week schedule is unknown for all students of the Freehold Regional High School District (FRHSD).

The FRHSD website states that as of Nov. 5, both Freehold Township High School and Manalapan High School were without power, although power was expected to return by the end of the day today.

The statement on the website goes on to say that if power does not return to these two schools, the entire FRHSD will remain closed until the power returns.

The district is attempting to coordinate the opening of the high schools with the K-8 districts, however, since some sections of the school community have been more affected than others by Hurricane Sandy so some differences in schedules will occur.

If school opens for Wednesday, the district will also be open on Thursday and Friday.
