Manalapan-Englishtown Schools and FRHSD to Dismiss Early on Thursday, June 9
Excessive heat prompts four-hour school day for both K-8 schools and area high schools.
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District and Freehold Regional High School District have both announced that tomorrow, Thursday June 9, will be a shortened school day due to the forecast of excessive heat.

FRHSD information:
All six schools of the Freehold Regional High School District will conduct an early dismissal on Thursday, June 9. RAISE Academy will be closed. Additionally, all immediate after school activities are canceled on Thursday. According to a statement on the district website, "In an early dismissal schedule, early schools (Freehold, Howell, and Manalapan) dismiss at 12:03 p.m., and late schools (Colts Neck, Freehold Township, Marlboro) dismiss at 1:03 p.m. Cafeterias do not serve lunch on early dismissal days."
