Principal Jeff Simon has been replaced by FRHSD Human Resources Administrative Supervisor Jennifer Sharp.

Principal Jeff Simon has been replaced today due to an ongoing administrative investgation regarding assorted school matters which do not involve students, according to a press release issued by Communications and District Projects Coordinator Nakell Williams.

The Freehold Regional High School District made these administrative changes "in the interest of the students," the release said.

Jennifer Sharp, the Human Resources Administrative Supervisor will serve as Acting Principal in Simon's place, and Adam Angelozzi will replace Manalapan High School Assistant Principal Thomas Gallahue, who has been temporarily assigned the Assistant Principal position at Freehold Township High School.

Thomas Gallahue has declined to comment on the administrative reorganization  and referred all questions to Williams.

"The changes were necessary as a result of the investigation that's pending," Williams said. She went on to confirm that Simon is on a paid administrative leave from the district and, therefore, the administrative changes were made as a result.

Williams is not aware of the details of the investigation, but said that the investigation is ongoing and no additional information can be provided to the public.
