New Jersey Association for Gifted Children to Award Head of MERS Curriculum

The New Jersey Association for Gifted Children to present Administrator of the Year Award to Joanne Monroe.

Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum-Human Resources Joanne Monroe, Ed.D. has been voted Administrator of the Year by the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children.

Monroe will receive the Administrator of the Year Award at NJAGC's 22nd Annual Conference "Gifted in the Real World" which is scheduled for March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hotel Somerset-Bridgewater in Sommerset, NJ.

"Your dedication to improve the quality of gifted education throughout your career and your continuing efforts to serve the needs of gifted children, within your district and through your work with all stakeholders – parents, teachers, children, and board members – are exemplary and worthy of recognition," Elaine Mendelow, the immediate past President and Awards Chair, said to Monroe in a letter.

Along with the award, Monroe will receie a one-year membership to the NJAGC.
