Pine Brook School March Highlights

Students displayed their talents in a show and advanced in the State National History Day Competition.

The following highlights are submitted by Irene Policastro, the Secretary to Superintendent John J. Marciante of the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District.

Annual Pine Brook Talent Show

Under the direction of Miss Singer, the Annual Talent Show was held on March 1st with 12 amazing acts performing. Students were treated to acts ranging from dance routines, to amazing pianists, and ending with an outstanding rendition of a popular Adele song. All students made Pine Brook proud and should be congratulated on their commitment and dedication to their specific talents. A big thanks also goes to our stage crew who made the show run flawless.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Pine Brook held our annual Spring Conferences from March 14-16th. This is always a great opportunity to complete the extremely important home-school connection. Parents were able to call in and schedule the conferences under a new revised format that minimize frustration and allowed all interested parents to schedule a time convenient to their schedule.

PTA Meeting

The PTA approved funding new TV Studio cameras and Teleprompters for the PBTV Channel 8 studio. These state of the art devices have allowed our TV station to go to the next level with our daily productions. The PTA has also committed to funding a large 12x16 Greenhouse to be added to our Outdoor Learning Environment. This will allow us to start our fruits and vegetables from seed, transplant them to our garden beds, and then donate the “fruits of our labor” to the Samaritan Center to help our local families.
