Parent-Teacher Conferences

Pine Brook School held their annual Spring Conferences from March 13-15. This is always a great opportunity to complete the extremely important home-school connection. Parents were able to call in and schedule the conferences with teachers who requested them on the Parent Portal.

Pine Brook Students Advance to State National History Day Competition

On Saturday, March 3, Pine Brook students competed in the Southern Regional New Jersey History Day Competition at The College of New Jersey. Under the guidance of Pine Brook National History Day Advisor, Mrs. Jill Podel, students created websites, performances and exhibits on topics that related to the 2013 National History Day theme.

Congratulations to the following students from Pine Brook who will advance to the State Level for National History Day on May 4th at William Paterson University:

  • Christian Fitzgerald: Individual Website: Assembly the Assembly Line
  • Zachary Glasser: Individual Exhibit: Alan Turing: The Foundations of Computer
    Science and Artificial Intelligence
  • Mihir Kandarpa and Ananth Koppol: Group Exhibit: Pioneering Space: The Formation of NASA and Its Greatest Accomplishments
  • Madison Doran and Jacalyn Siminerio: Group Exhibit: Polio: A Disease Put At Ease!
