Pine Brook School September Highlights

A compilation of the school's highlights from September.

The following highlights are submitted by Irene Policastro, the Secretary to Superintendent John J. Marciante of the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District.

Opening of School
The beginning of the school year is off to a fantastic start at Pine Brook. Out new 6th graders have quickly adapted to their new schedules, opening their lockers, and meeting new friends. The teachers are working cooperatively in both PLCs and Team meetings to address the student needs and increase student achievement.

Internet Safety Presentations
On Sept. 13 the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office presented an assembly focusing on Internet Safety to all of the Pine Brook students and staff.

The assembly focused on the dangers of the Internet and addressed concerns regarding HIB over the Internet.  A parent presentation was held that same evening in conjunction with MEMS for all of the District parents and guardians.

Back to School Night
Our annual Back to School Night was held on Sept. 27 with the majority of our parents/guardians attending the evening. The PTA, Foundation, and Boy Scouts were on hand to provide information to the Pine Brook Community.
