VIDEO: Manalapan High School '11 Graduation Highlights

597 graduates gathered with their family and friends for the June 20 ceremony.

This video features highlights of speeches from valedictorian Nathaniel May, salutatorian Mojin Chen, Poet Laureate Cara Daniello, Class Co-Presidents MariaGrace Iantosca and Michelle Mary Madonna, and a performance by the Manalapan High School Chorus. Guests included the keynote speaker Dr. Cynthia Baumgartner, principal of Kearny High School, and Mayor of Manalapan Andrew Lucas.

"99.6 percent of students graduated on time. 65.2 percent will be going off to a four-year college. 30.4 percent going off to a two-year college. 95.6 going on to college," said Principal Jeff Simon. "We accumulated over $4.5 million in scholarship money. We had 12 commended national merit scholarship winners, five semi-finalists , five finalists and one additional, special scholarship. Congratulations to the class of 2011. You've made us very proud."
