VIDEO: Manalapan High School Hosts Benefit Concert for Darfur

The concert was a first for STAND, the student host group, and took place on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

This video features highlights from the May 20 benefit concert for Darfur at Manalapan High School hosted by STAND, a student anti-genocide coalition. The event was co-sponsored by S.A.V.E., Students Against Violating the Environment.

Acts included Manalapan High School students Victoria Mikirtumova, Allison Kubit, Elyse Appelblatt, Vinny "Vintage" Guarino with Matt Vasquez, and the band Fatally Yours which features Middletown High School South students Danielle Cavaluzzi (lead vocals), Jonah Karew (guitar), Emily Hochheiser (bass guitar), and Tyler McKnight (drums).

The event helped to raise $400 for humanitarian relief in Darfur.
