Manalapan Baseball & Softball Association Opening Day Parade Saturday

Come see the MBSA kick off the baseball season this Saturday at their annual opening day parade.

The annual Manalapan Baseball and Softball Association Opening Day Parade is set for this Saturday, March 31 at the . The parade will kick off at 9:15 a.m. - so get their early to get a great spot!

Leading the parade will be a Manalapan police car and Manalapan fire truck. The Manalapan Samaritan Center will have a truck at the end of the parade route looking for food donations. One raffle prize ticket will be provided to every family who donates. There will be a myriad of prizes being raffled off, some of the prizes include CK's Baseball4U private lessons and a breakfast for two people at . There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

Manalapan Mayor Susan Cohen and Deputy Mayor Don Holland will be at the parade to support the athletes and staff of the Manalapan Baseball and Softball Association.

All of the players will be lining up on Field 3 of the recreation center to begin the parade, which will head from Field 3 towards Field 1 and make a right and end on Field 6. (For a map of the parade route, click on the PDF beneath the photo at the top right of this article).

Parents should walk their children to their respective age groups where their coach will be and then find a spot to watch the parade along the route. Parents will not be allowed to walk in the parade.

Parking lots near Field 1, Field 2, and Field 3 will be available until all spaces are filled, and then cars will be directed to park in the lot near Field 4, 5, and 6. If you are running late and arrive after 8:45 a.m. it is advised that you enter the recreation center throug the West Entrance and park between Field G and Field 5.
