UPDATE: Car Show Cancelled, Concert Moved to Covered Bridge

UPDATE: Due to inclement weather the car show, originally scheduled for Wednesday night, has been cancelled, according to Manalapan Township Administration.

However, the outdoor movie showing of "Grease" is still scheduled to continue at 9 p.m. on the "great lawn" of the Manalapan Recreation's Expansion property, weather permitting.

The live concert performed by "The Fabulous Greaseband" will now take place at the Covered Bridge Clubhouse, located at 1 Amberly Drive in Manalapan.

The Manalapan Arts Council and Recreation Department are sponsoring a concert, car show, and movie in the park this Wednesday, July 18 on the great outdoor lawn of the .

The car show featuring motorcycles, trucks, and automobiles will begin at 7 p.m. All vehicles will be judged and trophies will be awarded for "Mayors Choice", "Participants Choice", and "Best in Show". To enter your car pick up an application from the Administration Office.

At 8 p.m., The Fabulous Greaseband, a seven piece band, hits the stage to perform hits from the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, and nineties.

Finally, the evening ends at 9 p.m. with Shore Flicks' showing of "Grease" on the outdoor lawn at the Manalapan Recreation Center.

Donation bins are available for a food drive for the Samaritan Center and other local food banks.
