ICONic Boyz to Perform at NJ Balloon Festival

Three dance groups from Englishtown's , the ICONic Boyz, the ICONic Girlz, and the ICONic Dollz, will be performing at the 30th annual Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in Association with PNC Bank on Saturday, July 28 at 1 p.m. at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ.

The ICONic Boyz rocketted to fame last year after placing second on MTV's national dance competition reality show, Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew. The dance group, made up of 15 boys, was one of 10 dance street crews from across America who competed to earn the title of "America's Best Dance Crew" and $100,000. Each week viewers' votes determined which dance group would move on in the competition.

“We’re pleased to add another dimension to our lineup of affordable family entertainment,” Festival Executive Producer Howard Freeman said. “Our teen concerts series has enabled us to introduce the magic of ballooning to a whole new generation. These reality shows, whether it’s singing or dancing, are immensely popular. We’re happy to give local fans the opportunity to see the ICONic Boyz and their fellow dancers perform close to home.”  

The dance studio's ICONic Girlz and ICONic Dollz will also be performing at the balloon festival on July 28.

The festival itself spans three days from Friday, July 27 through Sunday, July 29. There will be mass ascensions of more than 100 sport and special shaped hot air balloons from around the world two times each day of the festival.

There will also be live concerts and family entertainment. Besides enjoying the dance of the ICONic Boyz, Girlz, and Dollz, you and your family can see Eddie Money, Smokey Robinson, Bret Michaels and R5 featuring Ross Lynch from Disney Channel's Austin & Ally.
