Last Chance: Sign Up for NOMAD Youth Lax Summer Clinic and Camp

Kids want to improve their lacrosse skills? Enroll them in a local clinic or camp this summer!

Manalapan Parks and Recreation is offering a summer program hosted by NOMAD Lacrosse for children presently in grades kindergarten through ninth grade. The Summer 2012 NOMAD Youth Lacrosse Program is a five week clinic open to both boys and girls.

The clinic will be held on Thursday evenings from June 21 through July 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sticks must be supplied by all participants. Boys must also supply their own helmet and gloves and girls must supplly goggles. The cost for the clinic is $70 per player. 

NOMAD is also offering a Summer Day Camp later on this summer for boys and girls currently in kindergarten through twelfth grade. The camp will take place from Aug. 20 through Aug. 24 and last from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants also are required to provide their own equipment.

If you register by June 20 for the camp the cost is $220 per player, but if you register after July 1 the cost is $250 per player.

Both the clinic and the camp will be run by Tom Durr and Bill McCutcheon of Foundations Lacrosse. Durr and McCutcheon are former college Lacrosse All-Americans.

Both the clinic and the camp will take place on the expansion fields L and K.
