Manalapan Summer Program 2012

Registration for the Manalapan Parks and Recreation Summer Program 2012 officially opened on March 8 - only 1200 campers are allowed to sign-up for this seven week program so hurry!

• Available for children currently in K-8
• Registered by March 30? Pay $590
• Registered AFTER March 30? Pay $650
• Transportation fee costs $175, but cannot be guaranteed after May 11
• After care fee is $215 for entire program, daily fee for after care is $8. No transportation will be provided from after care

New Changes for 2012

This summer, the Summer Program will not be utilizing indoor facilities. Subsequently, the program may be cancelled on days of inclement weather.

What is the Summer Program?

• Runs from Thursday, June 28 - Friday, Aug. 10
• Takes place at
• Camp groups are divided into four clusters:
  • Cluster 1: Kindergaren and First Grade
  • Cluster 2: Second and Third Grade
  • Cluster 3: Fourth and Fifth Grade
  • Cluster 4: Sixth and Seventh Grade
• Cluster Directors are Certified Teachers
• Each cluster is then divided into smaller groups headed by a Group Supervisor and assigned a specific colored shirt
• With parent's permission, campers will be traveling to local pools to swim approximately twice per week.
• Various scheduled trips will also be offered, but are optional. So, if you do not wish for your child to go on a particular trip he or she can stay at the Manalapan Recreation Center for the regular program. Trips can be paid for online or at the Manalapan Recreation Offices.
• Special Event days such as Olympic Day, a Water Carnival and an Independence Day Festival.
• EMTs are on staff to guarantee the safety of all campers
• Camp Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
