Shore Flicks Announces Summer Movie Schedule at Rec Center

Shore Flicks, providing outdoor movie entertainment in New Jersey for years, has recently announced their 2012 free movie series schedule. This is the first summer that Shore Flicks is teaming up with Manalapan Township to provide free outdoor movies to residents at the .

“Our goal is to bring back the outdoor family movie experience by echoing the nostalgic feel of the drive-in movie theater, which was invented in New Jersey,”  Shore Flicks owner TJ Brustowicz said in a release.

The movies will start approximately 30 minutes after the sun sets and will be projected onto an 16' screen, according to Shore Flicks. 

"Admission" for the movies is a non-perishable food item which will be provided to the Samaritan Center, the local food pantry.

The films that will be playing in Manalapan this summer are:

• July 3 - An American Tail
• July 18 - Grease
• August 10 - Casper

Shore Flicks also will be playing films across New Jersey this summer, including Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Atlantic Highlands, Eatontown, Fair Haven, Hazlet, Holmdel, Howell, Keyport, Marlboro, Matawan, Middletown, Neptune, Ocean, Oceanport, Red Bank, Spring Lake, and Tinton Falls.
