Summer Events and Activities Scheduled Across Monmouth

Keep busy with farmers markets, festivals and concerts this summer.

With summer comes a variety of events in Monmouth County. From shopping and dining to concerts, festivals and entertainment locals and tourists alike will have plenty to do.

“With such a wide variety of activities, there is something for everyone. I encourage you to get out and enjoy yourself this month,” Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone said in a press release issued by the county.

Below is a list of events coming up by category:

Farmer's Markets

  • Thursdays — Manasquan starting June 27
  • Fridays — Atlantic Highlands Farm Market
  • Saturdays — in Belmar and at Huddy Park in Highlands starting June 29
  • Sundays — at the Galleria in Red Bank and Kennedy Park in Asbury Park starting June 23

Entertainment

  • Wednesdays — Freehold Idol will take place every Wednesday from June 5 through August 21 in front of the Hall of Records; Sandy Hook’s summer concert series beginning June 12 at Sandy Hook’s Beach Area E
  • Thursdays — Thursdays by the Sea is a weeknight music series starting June 13 at Festival Plaza, Pier Village in Long Branch; Rock in Freehold starting June 13 in front of the Hall of Records
  • Fridays — Belmar concert series at Pyanoe Plaza; performances in the gazebo on Main Street in Freehold
  • Saturdays —  performances in the gazebo on Main Street in Freehold
  • Sundays — Blues by the Beach, a music series featuring local bands playing jazz and blues in West End Park in Long Branch

Other Events

  • June 27-30 - Stop by the Wall Township Municipal Complex for rides, crafts, games, live music and fireworks at the Wall Township Fair

  • June 28-29 - Bucks Mill Park in Colts Neck will feature rodeo attractions, food, entertainment, rides and vendors at the Colts Neck Country Fair
