A couple from Boston has adopted a cat that has been dubbed "Catasaurus Rex" due to its abnormally massive size.

The cat, whose real name is Pickles, weighs 21 pounds and is three feet long, and was founded abandoned on the side of the road, forced to fend for himself before being taken in by the MSPCA-Angell in Jamaica Plain, according to ABC News

Boston couple Andrew Milicia and Emily Zervos subsequently adopted the cat last month from the MSCPA's adoption center, according to the report.

"We're so proud of Pickles' wonderful new human family - and thrilled that this jolly giant graced us with his presence before finding his forever home," theMSCPA said on its Facebook page

It's believed that Pickles may be part Maine Coon, one of the largest breeds of domestic cats, according to The Daily Mail

When is everyone going to catch on that local Patch is gone. Local reporters have been laid off. There isn't anyone to report the local news for your town. Patch depended on local business ads to fund the online newspaper. If you didn't support local business, you didn't support local news reported by Patch and it's reporters. When are people going to stop thinking they can have everything they want without a price.
