Englishtown PBA #166 Run Holiday Toy Drive

All toys will be donated to the children at St. Peters Hospital in New Brunswick.

Englishtown Police PBA Local #166 is hosting their annual Holiday Toy Drive. Originally started in 1998 by the , PBA #166 sponsor the drive now, which is run by Corporal Michael MacInnes.

The toys collected will be brought to the children at St. Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick. The PBA requests that all toys be new and unwrapped and should range from infants to young adults.

The toys will be brought up to the hospital on Friday, Dec. 23 so please donate before then. The PBA usually collects around 200-300 toys each year, according to MacInnes, and they have already collected a significant amount so far this year.

There are drop-off boxes (wrapped in holiday-themed wrapping paper and labeled "Toy Drive") at the following locations for collection:

  • - 15 Main Street
  •   - 4 Tennent Avenue
  • Main Street Deli - 31 Main Street
  • - 37 Main Street
  • Quick Chek - 1 Wilson Avenue

Last year, a young Englishtown resident Hunter Langlois, collected toys for the drive, without telling the PBA, MacInnes said. Langlois, who is only 10-years-old,  is continuing to collect for the PBA toy drive this year and has already gathered over 100 toys for donation.
