Racin' Time Summer Concert, Multi-Vendor Open House

Summer Concert Series

This Wednesday, the Manalapan Arts Council is hosting the second concert of the Manalapan Township Summer Concert Series which will feature the band Racin’ Time. Come to the Manalapan Recreation Center at 7 p.m. to rock out to the classic rock, country, and blues music.

Government

• The Fire Prevention Committee is meeting on Monday in room 107 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 8 p.m. 
• The Teen Leadership Committee is meeting on Thursday in the downstairs section of the Police Department within the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 6:30 p.m.
• The Planning Board is meeting on Thursday in the courtroom of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 8 p.m. 

Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District 

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District Board of Education is meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the district’s administrative building on Main Street in Englishtown. 

Digital Photo Management

Not sure what to do after you take pictures nowadays? Monmouth County Library is holding a digital photo management class that teaches people how to use Picasa (uploading photos from the camera to the computer, storing photos in folders, backing up photos, and sharing digital photos via email and online photo albums). The lecture is on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and will run for approximately one hour and is followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. 

Multi-Vendor Open House Party

Fifteen different vendors are holding an open house at Gordons Corner Fire Company on Tuesday between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission is free and and there will be door prizes and refreshments. Vendors being represented included Pampered Chef, Arbonne, Javita, Lia Sophia jewelry, and Seacret.
